I have 2001 jeep cherokee limited and just change spark plugs but feels shakie.?
i have a 2001 jeep limited and change the sparks plugs but it still feels shakie and and kinda feels like is too accelarated , it has 93000 miles . do i have a serious problem ? please help.I have 2001 jeep cherokee limited and just change spark plugs but feels shakie.?Did this occur before the spark plug replacement, or only since? If it has only been since, pull off the coil pack and put it back on, making sure the boots are on the plugs. I've had a few come in where someone replaced there own plugs and now runs rough, because 1 or more of the coil boots weren't even on a plug. I have also seen people put platinum plugs in the 4.0L and had runability issues. It is strongly recommended (for this very reason) to only use copper plugs. Double check these 2 things. And what do you mean by %26quot;feels like is too accelerated?%26quot;I have 2001 jeep cherokee limited and just change spark plugs but feels shakie.?Did you change out the wires and all of the ignition parts? I'm not sure if your vehicle has a distributor or not but if it does you need to change out the distributor cap and rotor button along with the wires.I have 2001 jeep cherokee limited and just change spark plugs but feels shakie.?could be any number of things... timing off, cylinders not firing... have a mechanic look at it.I have 2001 jeep cherokee limited and just change spark plugs but feels shakie.?recheck your wires and make sure you put them back in the correct right spot. you might be misfiring. My husband made that mistake once. It was an easy fix.I have 2001 jeep cherokee limited and just change spark plugs but feels shakie.?There is no distributor or wires, you have coil packs that plug directly onto your plugs. You may have to replace the coils, but you really need someone to look at it unless you want to keep replacing parts without knowing what you are doing.oily skin pimples hook a desktop laptop to a compute

How do I change the spark plugs on a 2002 Nissan Altima?
Is there any tips NissanTech can share? This is the first time I will be changing plugs on an engine with coils instead of wires. I figure I will remove the plastic manifold cover then see whats comes next. Any tips on how I can do this successfully without having to take this to the shop? How do I change the spark plugs on a 2002 Nissan Altima?if its a 2.5 4 cly, its easy, you just need a 10 socket and ratchet to take the coil packs off. If its a 3.5V6 which i have its kinda hard, if you not the kinda average mechanic type of person, as for the intake manifold needs to come off to access the rear spark plugs. Hope this helps you!!!How do I change the spark plugs on a 2002 Nissan Altima?it's easy, you just get the right sized socket wrench and after unplugging the rubber coated wire that goes to all cylinders, unscrew the plugs and put new ones in it. plug them back in and you're good to go. Shouldn't take longer than 12 minutes.

Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?
I have a 94 Trans Am V8 Lt-1 engine with distributor. The spark plugs are sort of under the exhause manifold (I think that's what their called).
It seems like a lost cause to me. I started a couple times but I never get far.Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?Sometimes it's easier to jack the car up. Remove the front tires, and work thru the fender well to get to the spark plugs. Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?yes.Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?of course it's possible, it's just a pain in the a$$.Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?Don't know, don't mess with it. Take it to a shop for a tune up. At that time you should also do a fuel filter (if it is an inline filter), PCV valve, throttle body service, fuel/air system treatment, check the cap and rotor (if its not a coil set up, I can't remember on that car) and check the plug wires. Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?Yes but you will a special socket and extension for it. You can buy it from Snap On. You will also need an inspection mirror so you can see what you are doing. You will also need a good trouble light.
Make sure the engine is cold or you will get a few nasty burns from the exhaust manifold.
Another way to do it if you have good quality jack stands. You can jacket it up then use your jacket stands and change them from underneath the car. But again the engine has to be cold.Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?sounds like you have to remove the exhaust manifold to get at those plugs. or you can try looking underneath the vehicle. do you have a good socket set with extensions and such?Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?if you are asking that question, then you should definately take it to a shop and have a professional do it .... as for how you do it, it is a lot easier on that car to take the front tires off and go in through the fender with a ratchet and sochet with a long extensionIs it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?Oh it is doable. I have a suggestion. Remove a front wheel and look at the inner fender. There may be a removable panel that will give you access to the spark plugs. Failing that see if you can reach them from underneath.
I once owned a full size Blazer. It was a nightmare changing the plugs. I had to climb into the engine compartment for 3 of them, 2 could be reached from the front and the remainder had to be replaced from underneath. Just be creative and take it one plug at a time. And never be afraid to try a different extension or universal setup. Little things like that have saved me hundreds of times.
Good luck, I hope that panel is there. I found one on a Camero once and it made my day.Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?yes, it is possible. I've changed them before on my friend LT1. It's not a fun job to do. The back spark plugs you use only the spark plug socket and a wrench not the racket. Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?With a complete assortment of hand tools, it's do-able, the worst being the #2 cyl.Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Is it possible to change spark plugs on an Lt-1?Absolutely it's doable, but plan on about 4-5 hours easily. The book time is about 2.7 hrs. I haven't done them in several years, but I remember my friend and I cursing alot. If you have 1/2 a day to a full day, give it a shot, but it will be more difficult for you since you probably don't have a lift. Much of them are removed from underneath so that will be very tough getting the correct angles. Personally, if you don't turn a wrench often, pay someone to put in plugs that will last many years.

Can someone please tell me in details on how to change spark plugs on a mercedes 1998 C280?
Please be clear. I am still struggling and confused about this. Taking it to a mechanic and Benz dealer will be lots of money. Mechanic wanted $225 just for labor charge, and dealer is even more. Any help will be appreciated. Exactly where are the spark plugs located? How do i open them? Will I need some special tools? etc... Thank you!Can someone please tell me in details on how to change spark plugs on a mercedes 1998 C280?Remove spark plug suppressor, remove spark plug, reinstall suppressor. Repeat for other 11 spark plugs ( there are 2 plugs per cylinder ). The front ones are not too bad to change but the rear ones are pretty tight and you'll need a swivelling socket extension to reach them. Can someone please tell me in details on how to change spark plugs on a mercedes 1998 C280?take the spark plugs out and put the new ones in...Can someone please tell me in details on how to change spark plugs on a mercedes 1998 C280?The fact that you can't even see them tells you that it's not as easy as some people think it is,,,,,,,,,,they're located in deep holes in the cylinder head. Book time to replace the spark plugs on a 112 engine is 3.3 hours. You have to remove and replace the ignition coils (all 12 of them) and it takes a special tool to remove the wires without causing any damage (the wires are $40. each). Can someone please tell me in details on how to change spark plugs on a mercedes 1998 C280?Sorry to say. If you cant find them, have the mechanic do it. Don't go to the dealer find a smaller place that wont charge as much. You could follow the plug wires but you do need a ratchet, extender, and time. If you cross thread the plugs you will hate it and ruin the engine. Also when you change the plugs you should do the distributor and wires for plugs.
