How do I change the spark plugs on a 2002 Dodge Caravan?When you open the hood they are right in front of you. There are spark plug wires on them. You remove ONE spark plug wire at a time by twisting and pulling on it from the bottom of the boot. You remove the spark plug with a ratchet and spark plug socket. You use a spark plug feeler gage to set the gap and you apply a small amount of anti seize to the threads of the spark plug and start screwing it in by hand then tighten it with the ratchet and spark plug socket. You then snap the spark plug wire and boot back on it and go on to the next one and repeat. You do this with all four of them.

The best thing to do is watch a mechanic do it until you feel that you can do this. It becomes clearer when you watch it being done a time or two or three.
