How do you change spark plugs on 2004 dakota 3.7?

I am not familiar with newer engines let alone this is my first dodge. How do you change spark plugs on 2004 dakota 3.7?First off, the plugs are good for 100,000 miles so unless you have been driving cross country for the last two years, you probably don't need to change them. But they are right above the fuel rail in each side. They don't have traditional spark plug wires on them anymore. They have two thin wires that go into a unit that is bolted down to the top of the plug.

It took me a bit to find them too. I have the 2002 Dakota.

If you do replace them, make sure you replace them with platinums so they last another 100k miles. How do you change spark plugs on 2004 dakota 3.7?Well, the spark plugs are not in the usual spots now. They are above the valve covers, inbetween them and the intake manifold. Each one will have a little coil pack that is plugged into it. If you need a picture, of basically what it might look like, then I can send one, Via Email. How do you change spark plugs on 2004 dakota 3.7?YES THE PLUGS ALREADY IN THE DAKOTA ARE 100K PLUGS. I WAS GOING TO CHANGE MINE OUT TOO, BUT DECIDED IT WASN'T WORTH ALL OF THE TROUBLE. BESIDES I ONLY HAVE 26K ON MY 04. I MIGHT CHANGE THEM @ 75k?
