in a 4 cylinder stick shift car what is the recommended spark plug change interval%26gt;How often should I change spark plugs?its different for every car (a V8 would rely on its spark plugs being changed a lot more often then a 1.2),

Check your service manual - if you don't have one buy a haynes manual for your specific car type.

No-one can tell you properly what to do unless we know what the car is.How often should I change spark plugs? That depend on the plug you have.... a regular resistor plug you should change every 20K miles..... a platinum 30K and a double platinum can go 50K miles.....How often should I change spark plugs?if you feel power loss and/or misfiring. if not then simply refer to your owners manual maintenance guide. How often should I change spark plugs?i change mine every 20-25 thousand miles i think that's enough miles to put on a set of spark plugs,or ever 2 -3 years which ever comes first, all it does is keep the car in good running condition and help to keep the gas mileage up on it,when the plugs start to get old a car becomes hard to start and will loose power as well as gas mileage, something none of us can afford to waste right now,if you change them every 25 thousand that will be fine, good luck with it.How often should I change spark plugs?THERE ARE SUGGESTED PERIODS BY EACH CAR MANUFACTURER, BUT KEEP IN MIND THEY WANT YOU TO GO TO A DEALER AND GET THE WORK DONE.. A SPARK PLUG IS A NON WEARING PART AS FAR AS FRICTION. IT IS EXPOSED TO EXPLOSIONS IN THE CYLINDER HEAD AND THERE ARE VARIABLES WHICH WILL INDUCE PRE-MATURE WEAR SUCH AS A RICH FUEL MIXTURE OR TOO LEAN. AND IMPROPER GAP, OR OVER EXPOSURE TO OVER HEATING...PULL THEM AND INSPECT THEM COMPARED TO A NEW ONE. THE INSULATOR AROUND THE TIP COULD HAVE A CRACK WHICH WOULD BE HARD TO SEE.. THEY ARE CHEAP ACTUALLY AND EASY TO INSTALL WITH A SPARK PLUG SOCKET WHICH IS MADE TO SECURE THE PLUG WHEN PULLING IT UP AFTER ALL THREADS ARE FREE FROM THE HEAD.. i CHANGE AROUND 30K AVERAGEHow often should I change spark plugs?Check your owner's manual for recommended change intervals.

OR...

Pull a plug and look at it. If the plug just looks like it has a light brownish grey soot on it, it's burning clean. If the center electrode is still nice and flat on the end, it's ok. If it's rounded, replace. If it looks greasy black or has heavy deposits on it, replace. How often should I change spark plugs?don't waste your money. a spark plugs are good for a least 60,000 miles.
