I need to change my spark plugs can you tell me where they are and how to get to them?

I cant find the back 4 spark plugs and i cant seem to get to the front 4 what and where can i find them or a map of the engine i have a 1992 cadillac De Ville v 8(i think)I think it a 4.9 or something like thatI need to change my spark plugs can you tell me where they are and how to get to them?If you don't know this, you are unfit to be doing it. Things like using the wrong torque, mixing up the leads, using the wrong plug, dropping something into the cylinder while a plug is out, etc will cause you grief. Fixing the resulting problems will cost more than you will save.



Ask a friend. This is a basic bit of car maintenance and many people can do it without a detailed manual. Your spark plug supplier (auto shop) will tell them the torque to use. You need to be able to remove, gap the new plugs, install them and torque to the correct value.I need to change my spark plugs can you tell me where they are and how to get to them?If you really want to try doing your own tune-up, pick up the 1992 Cadillac DeVille Haynes service manual available at most auto parts stores. I believe it is priced under $20.00.



Look over the tune-up procedure and decide if you really want to deal with it or not.



There is no shame in having someone with more experience do the job for you.
